libby + paul
I feel like this wedding stationery is one of the most timeless sets I’ve ever developed with a couple. I liked it so much that I decided to use it for one of my Studio Suites {aptly named Paul}.
Libby’s color combo was a dark blue, dark red and gold/yellow. We created an invite (pocket in the back style) along with save the dates, programs, menus, dessert cookie signs, wishing tree sign & a seating chart.
The story behind this particular design is from an afternoon I spent with my mom and grandma digging through my great grandparents chest. We found all sorts of treasures, my favorite being a book from 1901 called the Farmer’s Manual. There is everything from how to do your taxes to how to sell a pig inside! There is also a section on calligraphy with many intriguing images of calligraphy animals, mostly birds. The design on the top of this invite is the tail from one of those birds! The design fits well with my style and I look forward to using it more in the future!
These amazing photos (and engagement photo) come from Elizabeth of D & E Image. I LOVE how she was able to get photos of the invitation too!!
