Why I LOVE Grand Rapids. {reason #1}

This past Friday, downtown GR hosted it’s 2nd annual Park(ing) Day. The event is global, and started in San Fransisco to create an awareness of the amount of space the city uses for vehicles vs. parks. Now urban areas all over are participating. I’m proud to be apart of a city that not only cares about their public parks, but also supports these type of awareness events.
