Fuschia & Orange

I have worked with a few brides this past year who used fuschia & orange as their wedding colors. Personally, I’ve never been a huge “pink” fan, but I love orange and think these colors are just adorable together.

If you’re considering these colors for your wedding, or even just your stationery, you have to carefully plan out how you will apply this strong combination to your event. As fun as fuschia and orange are, their dramatic look can be overwhelming if over used.

Just look at your wedding from an objective “larger picture” perspective and consider, “where could I add a little white space as to accent these colors even better?” (so that you don’t have fuschia on orange on fuschia on fuschia on orange). Possibly, ivory  or pale yellow bridesmaid dresses will set off those brightly colored roses, or white table linens with a colored runner (or escort cards) might be easier on the eyes than glaring, full-color table cloths.

I’m just suggesting to keep it in perspective when using fuschia and orange, it’s way too easy to get carried away in the energy of this vibrant, delightful color combination!
